3. Can I use OhioLearns! to complete a GED?
The OhioLearns! catalog is a collaboration of higher educational institutions in the state of Ohio offering their distance learning options through one easily accessible site. The courses and degrees offered are college level courses. Hence, we do not have courses that can be used to complete a GED.
However here are two suggestions. First, you might want to try contacting your county's Ohio GED Testing Centers. They might be able to offer you options you are unaware of currently. The contact information is found at the Ohio Department of Education's Web site for GED Testing Centers. To answer some Frequently Asked Question about the GED in Ohio, you will want to visit The Ohio Department of Education's Web site.
You might also want to review the American Council on Education: General Educational Development Testing Service site that offers additional information about obtaining a GED. OLN does not endorse any services this site might offer. We list it because the site offers services you might find useful if you are interested in obtaining a GED.
If we can be of any additional assistance, please let us know by contacting an OLN Regional Coordinator.
